Hi, welcome to Monty Lounge Industries, LLC. I'm Kevin Fricovsky, a creative and passionate technologist (aka web geek). I specialize in helping companies solve every day problems through simple, creative, powerful solutions.

I'm also the co-founder of Django-NYC, the DjangoDose Community Evangelist, Chief Architect - Web Strategy and Development for Broadway.com, and I blog over at the Monty Lounge blog.

In the past year or two I've also written some featured articles (Linux Magazine and DjangoAdvent) around the internets, released a somewhat popular open source Django blog engine named Django-Mingus, and most recently presented at DjangoCon 2010.

I live with my wife, Katy, and 2 years old son, Conor, and my 3 month old daughter, Claire, in Tinton Falls, New Jersey. We like love the area. We're close enough to the beach, and far enough away to keep us safe from the summer shore craziness. We're also close enough to NYC to miss it but get our Grey Dog Cafe fix when needed.

This site was developed using django and python. The cms powering this site will become an open source portfolio management project — it's not ready for public consumption yet but I'll let you know when it's made public. The database powering the cms is Postgres. The site was designed using Photoshop. Textmate and Coda provided excellent programming and coding environments. The source code for this site is managed thanks to Subversion. Analytics are powered by Reinvigorate. Hosted by webfaction.
